ANIMAL RABIES: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Rabies, a neglected viral zoonosis disease, impose major public health and veterinary importance. There is limited attention to the role of wild animals as sylvatic reservoirs rabies virus. Thus, this systematic review aims identify various types with infection, determine prevalence virus in animals, high-risk animal that could contribute human rabies. A search was performed PubMed Web Science databases for papers on published from 2015 until 2019. The articles were analyzed infection among which ranges 0% up 74.16%. highest dogs 0.02% 74.16% followed by fox 52.93% 70.1%. other two namely camel sheep/goat revealed more than 50% 59.7% 57.1% respectively. This study shows varies, still have leading causes transmission human. Dog are most common our review. domestic kept pets especially should be properly vaccinated against Meanwhile, avoidance or extra cautious while handling wildlife primary
